They have a therapeutic approach and a philosophy based on the scientific fact that the nervous system controls the functioning of every cell , tissue, organ and body system. And that any disturbance of it, whether mechanical cause (accident, shock, trauma), chemical (alcohol, drugs, drugs) or emotional (psychological impact) will have repercussions on the health of the body .

The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is protected by a bony armor composed of the skull and spine. Between each vertebra emerging roots of peripheral nerves that innervate the body will in its entirety. When blockages articular vertebral (the chiropractor call subluxations ) mobility can be compromised and then a cause nerve interference which prevents communication between the brain and the rest of the body causing pain states or functional disturbances or even organic.
These are subluxations of the spine (blockages) that the chiropractor will seek to identify and reduce by means of manual adjustments , specific and painless. The chiropractor then attaches special attention to the spine and its relationship with the nervous system maintenance.

But having an approach to entire body , the chiropractor does not stop at simply reducing blockages responsible for vertebral joint nerve disturbances. It especially seeks to identify the causes of these blockages, whether postural, traumatic, degenerative, emotional or even chemicals. It proceeds with an analysis and a postural treatment (pelvis and extremities) if necessary and often to be driven to work closely with physiotherapists, podiatrists, dentists, doctors, nutritionists and psychotherapists. The chiropractor determines the individual needs of their patients after a review orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic radiological complete . As a health professional first contact they are entitled to make a diagnosis, to determine the indication and the non-indication for chiropractic treatment to establish a prognosis and determine the nature and frequency of examinations and treatments necessary in each case they are called upon.

Chiropractic is a manual therapy to restore and maintain a balance between optimal nervous, and skeletal muscle of our body. It is a science that restores and maintains health.

The spine, also called tree of life, protects spinal cord from which thirty-one pairs of nerves that carry nerve impulses reaching the brain. This nerve impulses coordinates and regulates the functioning of the muscular, hormonal and immune systems of our organs, glands, tissues and cells.

Chiropractic care is aimed at the detection, correction and prevention of neuro-muscular disruption (reduction or loss of joint mobility). These disturbances cause obvious symptoms such as pain, blockages, numbness, tingling, pinching, discomfort when breathing deeply and more generally a disorder of the nervous system and poor health.

Adjustment: A specific term that defines the chiropractic treatment, comprising applying to affected areas of the body and spine in particular, some specific actions in order to correct the interference to the nervous system.

Subluxation: A term used to define chiropractic a part of the body deprived of a good nerve flow. We talk about vertebral subluxation when the vertebra underwent a change in placement, it results in pain, stiffness or organ dysfunction related to spinal area.

Innate Intelligence: Just as the pain will be considered an expression of a disorder marked by an intelligent organism, and his speedy recovery after the adjustment will be awarded to the innate intelligence of the body. Indeed the human body has mechanisms autonomous (nervous, endocrine, digestive, etc..) That maintain the principle of homeostasis, so that the health and lives on only through a flexible nervous system (free all nerve interference) the individual can adapt to its environment .

Health: According to WHO: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. ”
In this case, the elements defining the quality of life must be considered, such as those that are conventionally defined as public health problems.

If you are interested in Yoga, then here is the guide for you to dig deep into Yoga Sutras to master the divine art with total perfection.

The performing of yoga has been written in our Vedas, Upanishads etc. The purpose of yoga and meditation is also mentioned in Bhagavad-Gita, one of the ancient holy books of the Hindus. Although, the text of yoga was found in all the epics, the formal way of performing it was not clear. There was a sage called Patanjali. He only gave a collective philosophy of performing yoga. He has written about the yoga sutras in his manuscripts. These manuscripts are very difficult to get. The predominance and essence of yoga has been explained scientifically and medically in his sutras. His manuscripts are converted as books which are readable by all.

The book gives the methods and explanation of 195 sutras. This information of sage Patanjali helped the history of yoga to reach a higher position and to create a milestone. The text in that book is short and simple so that all can read and memorize it. Even if the text is small, the meaning for it is enormous. Though it is brief, the sutras influence the practice of current yoga just like the methods of early days. The sutras are chaptered into four which are called Padas. These Padas are still more classified and simplified for the purpose of easy understanding and practicing. Yoga should be practiced in proper way, as otherwise complications would occur.

These sutras help as a guide for learning yoga in the proper method. Yogas are not only practiced for improvement of health, but also for spiritual growth. Yoga is a very ancient art of spirituality. The inception of yoga is unknown. It is believed that it has been rooted before BC.

The term Yoga had originated from Sanskrit. Yoga in Sanskrit refers to union. The language Sanskrit is one of the ancient languages of India. Most of the great Indian epics are depicted in Sanskrit only. Since, while performing Yoga the mind, body, soul and spirit unite and come to one point, we call this union as Yoga in Sanskrit. In early days, great Sanskrit religious scholars were only performing Yoga. Hence, I feel this term Yoga should have originated from them. I have heard that these yogis used to perform Yoga for the purpose of controlling the 5 main sensory organs. In this present world, it is spread all over the world. Yoga has proved not only to control the senses, but also to promote your over all health. It keeps you fit by preventing obesity. The word asana refers to the body posture.

There are many kinds of Yoga Asanas. Each posture of Yoga is believed to be beneficial for different problem. Breathing exercise is also considered as one of the Yoga Asana. Breathing exercise is a very common exercise to keep body fit. It not only helps your lungs to work properly without interruption but it is also good for your brain, memory etc. Recent studies have proved that doing Yoga on a fresh morning helps promoting your health and prevents various

diseases. I feel that each of us should take up Yoga as one of our routines in the morning. But I wouldn’t insist that we have to do Yoga only in the mornings. There are no such criterion that you have to do Yoga only on the early morning. Time is not at all a criterion for this. You can perform it in any preferred time, provided you fulfill certain things prior to your Yoga performance.

A yoga pose has two layers of meaning: its physical and its philosophical meaning. Each yoga practice begins by making a firm connection to the earth. It’s called getting grounded. You are grounded when you are sitting or standing firmly and calmly, aware of your body touching the floor, your breath and your surroundings.

Mountain pose is the foundation posture for all standing yoga poses. But there is a lot more to it than standing around. It is a head to toe body survey that helps you develop self-awareness, strength, good posture and balance.

Poses that increase strength and endurance demand focus, concentration and commitment to stick with it even when the going gets tough. Achieving our goals in life require us to focus and commit for long periods of time, sometimes for years.

Balance poses can be powerful and dynamic, demanding both strength and flexibility, effort and release, focus and joy. Creating balance in our lives is a dynamic process, too. Yoga practice can provide a different way to look at things in your life so that you can make good decisions that serve your best interests.

Every day for the next week, spend a few minutes standing in Mountain Pose. When you feel balanced and strong, open your eyes and smile. You just learned how to stand on your own two feet!

Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart. Roll your shoulders back, arms at your sides with the palms facing your body and fingers pointed to the floor. To get grounded, distribute your weight evenly over both feet. Feel all four corners of your feet on the ground. Raise your toes up and down a few times to check your stability. Tuck your tailbone under, contract your abdomen and extend your head from your neck for a nice, long spine. Look straight ahead or gaze down your nose. Visualize yourself as a strong and stable mountain and begin to focus on your breathing.

Yoga is an exercise form of the mind and body. This ancient knowledge originated from India. There are many types of yoga and some of them are Ashtanga Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and the now-popular Power Yoga. Yoga is taught by an expert teacher. Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn is all that are needed to start up a yoga session.

The daily practice of yoga improves concentration, boosts your energy, reduces stress, brings peace of mind and develops all systems in the body. A discipline is formed once yoga becomes a routine in your life. A proper regime detoxifies your body and brings holistic benefits by bringing you into the realm of organic and vegetarian diet.

Yoga exercise combines aerobics and other simple physical activities which enhance flexibility of muscles. It is generally done standing or sitting on a mat. It starts with simple poses and then increases in intensity. A good instructor will give alternatives for those who cannot perform complicated exercises.

Yoga can be practised by everyone from infant to adults. The impact of yoga can be felt even after retirement age. It helps control emotions and manages everyday tension at home and outside. It helps co-ordinate thought and action in the right way. A routine morning session of yoga with a motivating pleasant soft music creates a sound mind in a sound body.
