The Right Time to Practice Yoga

The term Yoga had originated from Sanskrit. Yoga in Sanskrit refers to union. The language Sanskrit is one of the ancient languages of India. Most of the great Indian epics are depicted in Sanskrit only. Since, while performing Yoga the mind, body, soul and spirit unite and come to one point, we call this union as Yoga in Sanskrit. In early days, great Sanskrit religious scholars were only performing Yoga. Hence, I feel this term Yoga should have originated from them. I have heard that these yogis used to perform Yoga for the purpose of controlling the 5 main sensory organs. In this present world, it is spread all over the world. Yoga has proved not only to control the senses, but also to promote your over all health. It keeps you fit by preventing obesity. The word asana refers to the body posture.

There are many kinds of Yoga Asanas. Each posture of Yoga is believed to be beneficial for different problem. Breathing exercise is also considered as one of the Yoga Asana. Breathing exercise is a very common exercise to keep body fit. It not only helps your lungs to work properly without interruption but it is also good for your brain, memory etc. Recent studies have proved that doing Yoga on a fresh morning helps promoting your health and prevents various

diseases. I feel that each of us should take up Yoga as one of our routines in the morning. But I wouldn’t insist that we have to do Yoga only in the mornings. There are no such criterion that you have to do Yoga only on the early morning. Time is not at all a criterion for this. You can perform it in any preferred time, provided you fulfill certain things prior to your Yoga performance.
